Studies have shown that a friend with good listening skills can be of as much help as a trained psychologist when working with women who are struggling with challenges life throws at them.
ABCâs Part 1 equips women to minister to others through active listening, being there in the midst of suffering, developing a biblical perspective on suffering, and understanding the caring process. This is not a âknowledge-acquisitionâ course, but a practical hands-on course that offers skills that can be life-changing in relationships. The goal is to transform the way we approach ministry â from, âI can tell you the answerâ to, âAs I care, listen and we pray together, you will gain insight into answers that the Lord has.â This is a major paradigm shift that needs time, repetition and practice to cement in place.Â

This course deals with four issues we need to understand to grow up in
Christ: the process of maturity, our identity formation, the role of suffering, and the implications of spiritual warfare.
This course explores our calling to a life of love. This includes developing
our relationship with God through appreciation and understanding double-mindedness (living emotionally in a two-story house).
This course focuses on two areas: the theory behind Immanuel Prayer and learning to use it to help others connect with the Lord to receive His healing.
